The download from the RRPP-party is ready for uploading so it´ll be up around tomorrow or a bit later maybe. But it´ll surely be an excellent soundtrack to 2009!

Ok, nice! Until they started Ibiza-style with some Hyper-Hyper thingy! The crowd loved it, I hated it! But before that it was a blast allthough they played “Black Block” twice. A real surprise was a marvelous remix of Björk´s “Dull Flame of Desire”. Oh and don´t use a microphone if it isn´t on. I really think most of the “live” electro/techno-acts do strictly nothing! And Modeselektor didn´t really make me think something else. As support there was Artaban and they were splendid. Here the “live”-part is taken by the bass-player. So have a nice night!

So after some professionnal success I come back to our READYdot-baby. Right now I´m uploading 2 sets! Will take some time, one´s three and a half the other 2 and half hours long. Tomorrow it´s dancing time with Modeselektor. On the 13th we´ll have another set at the d:qliq. Furthermore do we plan to make a DJ-gathering of some sorts. Putting all the d:qliq-DJs together for better promotion: that´ll be us READYdot, The BudSpencers, Tom au Cube, Joé, Moulinex Bros., etc.

I´m also tweaking knobs for some live action and still working on some future release. Besides that lot´s of other oportunities show up. We´ll keep you up to date!!! Stay cool!

A DIY 8-bit sampler specially made for those DIYlers and Benders alike. So you get all the bad, crunchy, delightfull 8-bit sound that most of us like so much. So it basically is a Speak&Spell-Sampler ready to be bent and abused.

So here comes pure japanese madness. Gakken, as it seems is some kind of magazine or similar and had previously already released a theremin kit (got to find that one). Now they released a DIY-synth that looks a bit like a Stylophone made by Bob Moog. It is an anlogue synthesizer. As it seems the thing is already completely sold out. So hoping on my luck I looked it up on eBay and found a bargain and bought it. So in 1 or 2 week i´ll do some really screechy tunes!

A guy even build a sequencer for the SX-150, called the SQ-150, you can find schematics and pictures here: SQ-150 by Home Made Synth (japanese):

A youtube user made a pretty cool video about the thingamakit and his little brothers the thingamagoop. He simply recorded some thingamakit bleeps an blops and plays along with his battery:

I´ve recently read on some blog (Create Digital Music), that last.fm is going to spend some royalities for trax that are played. How much that is still isn´t known, it will probably depend on the amount of traffic this generates. Well, so me being a fulfilled artist (has anybody noticed the joke in the last two words?!) I uploaded some tracks an so on. And I must say I am a bit confused and do not really understand how this thing works. First you have to upload your songs as an album… huh? Ok, well did that. Then your songs are on, and what next!? Well I suppose someone has to listen to them and tag them. That´s where you come in. So everybody (yes, that includes you of the million of people who read this blog :)) go listen to my songs on last.fm. There are only a few available by now. But I´ll put up more of them, as well as some pics and a bio. Who the fuck needs a bio, I want music! So if you already aren´t a member there, go here: last.fm and have fun!

UPDATE: I´ve just discovered how they would like to pay me:
- If your track is played on our free radio service you will accrue a 10% of the Share of Last.fm’s Net Revenue (see the definition of “Share” and “Net Revenue” in the terms and conditions) from the free radio service.
So hope they do make a lots of revenue back there at last.fm!
